Medicine and Magic

“Many have said of Alchemy, that it is for the making of gold and silver.  For me such is not the aim, but to consider only what virtue and power may lie in medicines.”
-Paracelsus

As above so below, solve et coagula.  These are the principals of Alchemy, the study of correspondences between metaphysical and material.

Few words are as misunderstood as 'Alchemy' because secular humanistic science is presumed, by most, to be the best paradigm for understanding reality while 'The Royal Art' has fallen into disrepute in a society that broadly rejects its Creator.

Alchemy does not posit the existence of merely four perceptible dimensions (length, width, depth and time), as does quantum mechanics, but rather eleven as per string theory.  This is the jumping off point for our journey.

The causal plane of archetypes (Atziluth), governs the world of creation (Briah or 'mental realm' governed by 12 symbolic 'constellations' - aries, taurus, gemini, cancer, leo, virgo, libra, scorpio, sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius, pisces), which drives the plane of formation (Yetzirah or 'astral realm' governed by 7 spiritual 'planets' - moon, sun, mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, saturn), that ultimately manifests in our experiential world of action (Assiah or 'physical realm' comprised of 4 metaphysical 'elements' - fire, air, water, earth).

Collectively this is the 'Major Archana' (22 principles plus the hybrid principle of 'earth'), while the 'Minor Archana' are comprised of the four elements manifest over the 10 sephirot and 12 court cards (as reflected by the 74 cards of the Tarot).  Avoidance of mantic arts and practices - such as Ouija and Tarot - is highly recommended in order to preclude the influence of malevolent spirits (non-corporeal intelligences) in one's life.

Each plane is comprised of ten states, with twenty-two interdependencies, as graphically depicted on the Sephirotic Tree of Life.  Alchemy presents 33 stations multiplied by 4 planes of existence, 132 causal elements in total.

All states are subject to the universal mind as well as the human mind.  Just as the natural elements (condensed energies) of the periodic table present all potentials of the natural word, so do the metaphysical energies of the Kabballah represent all metaphysical energies which supersede physical phenomena.

Light, Vibration, Tone, and Conscious Placement are the Kabbalistic keys to understanding the operation of the universe.  All that is, was, or is to come has been contemplated by God and is accessible to human beings made in His image.  Applying this knowledge to the kingdoms of minerals, plants and animals is true Alchemy.

Infinite incorporeal intelligences,  many gods, One Almighty God.  Men attempt to conceal this knowledge through secret societies but Christ offers all to all in the Millennial Age to come.

Secular science assumes that all that exists is of a single cause and that there is nothing of an 'uncreated' nature beyond time and space.  Alchemy, in contrast, posits that all that is created is of a finite nature however the universe is infinite and therefore the first cause, God, has a unique and infinite nature.  The name of God, YHVH, is the tetrapolar magnet upon which our universe has been created.  An infinite mind, of infinite power and love, created all.

To create a genuine alchemical elixir one must first combine plants with complementary energetic temperance across all planes of existence (alchemical 'salt' or earth and water principles;  'mercury' or water and air principles; as well as 'sulphur' or air and fire principles) and process them in a spygeric (calcination, dissolution, separation, conjunction, fermentation, distillation, coagulation)  manner to amplify said characteristics on all planes of reality.

Spirit inhabits flesh and yet disease manifests on all planes when it is present.  Magic happens whenever mind interacts with matter but true healing must occur on all planes of existence to have any lasting benefit.

We are all sick and in need of healing.  All who genuinely confess Jesus, God come in the flesh to redeem mankind from sin, as Lord and Savior will be saved (Rom. 10:9).

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’  The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no commandment greater than these.”
